A collection of teapots and teabowls glazed with ash glazes and reduction fired at 1300°C. Each teapot is glazed with the ash of a different species of tree or plant. The wood and plants were prunings from Mappercombe Estate in Dorset and were burned seperately. The glaze is a simple recipe with Feldspar, local ball clay from Dorset and ash.
The teapot collection was exhibited as part of the final exhibition of the Ceramic Development Course at Forest Row School of Ceramics (England).
